Cold wet October weather in P.E.I. is making harvest difficult for eastern producers.

Cooler morning temperatures means that some farmers aren't starting to harvest until mid-afternoon and working late into the night. A late spring frost and early fall frost, coupled with the dry growing season, means yields for the province are expected to be on the lighter side. | READ MORE
