Potato growers’ goal is to have accurate information of potential development of diseases in each of their fields. This can be accomplished with regular field monitoring.

In this webinar, Jeff Miller outlines common foliar diseases of potatoes that occur from emergence to top killing, including:

• Correct identification of potato diseases
• Early detection of diseases and where are most likely to occur
• How to distinguish the most common foliar diseases from their look-alike disorders.

This information should allow growers to better time pesticide applications and to apply pesticides only when necessary.
