P.E.I. government cuts disinfection service
Nov. 12, 2015, Prince Edward Island – The Prince Edward Island government is cutting funding to a provincially funded potato disinfection service. The service, which has been in place for more than 30 years, sprays potato transport trucks arriving on P.E.I., local machinery and warehouses, for a disease called bacterial ring rot, which can be devastating for potato crops, reports the Guardian. | READ MORE
