Poor harvest driving up price of potatoes

The poor fall weather in western North America took its toll on the potato harvest, and the cost of that is already driving up the price of fresh potatoes. In addition to difficult harvests experienced in Manitoba and Alberta, an October blizzard rendered about 20 per cent of the Idaho crop unharvestable.
